ABOUT

Understand diplomatic positions at a glance

DiplomAtlas is an editorial and visual platform for following how countries position themselves on the Sahara issue. It combines an interactive atlas, documented country dossiers and validated diplomatic news in one consistent reading experience.

Our mission

Make complex diplomatic positions easier to explore without replacing the original institutional sources. Every public position is linked to a documented editorial workflow and can be read alongside the country context.

How the Atlas works

The P1–P11 scale provides a common visual vocabulary. The globe, flat map, search and country gauge all use the same published position so the classification remains consistent across the site.

Editorial method

Country information is prepared from identifiable sources, reviewed before publication and kept separate from drafts or internal monitoring notes. When a position is uncertain, the platform uses a temporary review state rather than presenting an unsupported conclusion.

Who it is for

DiplomAtlas is designed for students, researchers, journalists, institutions and readers who need a structured overview before consulting the underlying primary sources.
